  • 2018, $100,000: Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship: "Teaching Arabic residents to use technology bi-lingually and through blended learning to increase their abilities in employment & online business".
  • 2009, $1000: Bursary from Global Studies Conference Organiser to attend the Global Studies Conference, Dubai, UAE.
  • 2008, $500: Bursary from the University of Melbourne to attend a workshop of Web 2.0 Studies.
  • 2006, $250,000: University President Scholarship, from University of South Australia, that covers tuition fees and living allowance for the PhD study for 5 years.
  • 2005, £2,000: Two competitions organised by Ford Foundation in cooperation with the School of Economics & Political Science, Cairo University to attend workshops in Conflict Management and Change Management.
  • 2000, £20,000: Graduate Project Scholarship, to study Website Designing and Development in IBM Egypt.
  • 1999, £10,000: Egyptian Government Scholarship to study the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Educational Computing).
